In the most basic PCB, the parts are concentrated on one side and the wires are concentrated on the other side. This PCB is called a single panel. The double panel is covered with copper on both sides of the wire, and through the hole to direct the line between the two layers, so that it forms the required network connection. Multilayer board refers to a printed board consisting of more than three layers of conductive graphics and insulating materials between them, and the conductive graphics between them are interconnected as required.
The circuit board is mainly composed of welding pad, through hole, mounting hole, wire, component, connector, filler, electrical boundary and so on. The main functions of each component are as follows:
(1) Pad: metal hole for welding components.
(2) Through holes: including metal through holes and non-metal through holes, wherein metal through holes are used to connect pins between components of each layer.
(3) Mounting hole: used to fix the circuit board.
(4) Conductor: copper film network for connecting component pins.
(5) Connectors: used to connect components between circuit boards.
(6) Filler: The application of copper wire to the ground network can effectively reduce the impedance.
(7) Electrical boundary: used to determine the size of the circuit board.
Note: All components on the board must not exceed the boundary.
