  When proofing high -frequency PCB, according to the number of layers, different surface treatment methods will be adopted. Simple single -surface and double panels. Generally, most of the surface processing methods are mostly sprayed with tin or OSP. The frequency board uses the golden surface treatment method. Each PCB surface processing method has its own characteristics. Today, I will introduce several common high -frequency PCB proofing surface processing methods.

  1. Tin spray

  Tin spray is also called hot wind (HASL). In the early days, it was the most commonly used surface treatment method for high -frequency PCB samples. With the development of the PCB, the tin spray process is very mature and the cost is low. Now there are lead -free tin spray and lead tin spray. Tin spray is suitable for visual inspection and electricity test, which is one of the high -quality surface treatment methods in high -frequency PCB proofing.

  2. Nickel gold

  Nickelization gold is also a relatively large PCB surface treatment method in high -frequency PCB proofing. The nickel layer in nickel -mocked gold is a nickel -phosphorus alloy layer, which is not detailed here. Nickelization gold is suitable for lead -free welding, SMT, switch contact design, aluminum line binding, thick boards, etc. The surface is very flat, resisting the environmental attack.

  3. Nickel Gold

  Nickel gold gold has previously applied more on semiconductors. With the development, high -frequency PCB proofing has gradually begun to apply. It is cheaper than the cost of ENIG and nickel gold, suitable for multiple surface treatment processes and on the board.

  4. Nickel plating

  There is a difference between hard gold and soft gold in gold electroplating nickel. Hard gold is like gold cobalt alloy. Soft gold belongs to pure gold. There are more nickel plating gold on the IC carrier plate (such as PBGA), mainly used for gold and copper line binding; Come out to electroplating. In high -frequency PCB proofing, electroplating nickel gold is suitable for contact switch design and golden line binding, suitable for electricity testing.
