Symptom: After processing or soldering, the substrate size exceeds the tolerance or cannot be aligned.
Inspection method: Fully implement quality control during the processing process.
Possible reasons:
1. The structural texture direction of paper based materials was not paid attention to, and the longitudinal expansion is about half of the transverse expansion. And the substrate cannot return to its original size after cooling.
If the local stress in the laminate is not released, it may sometimes cause irregular dimensional changes during the processing.
Solution:
1. Instruct all production personnel to frequently cut the board according to the same structural texture direction. If the size change exceeds the allowable range, consider using a substrate instead.
2. Contact the laminate manufacturer for advice on how to release material stress before processing.
