PCB decoupling capacitor configuration

  In the DC power supply circuit, the change of the load can cause power noise. For example, in a digital circuit, when the circuit is converted from one state to another state, a large peak current will be generated on the power line to form a transient noise voltage. Configuration decoupling capacitance can inhibit the noise generated by changes in load, which is a conventional practice of the reliability design of the circuit board.

  The configuration principle is as follows:

  The power input terminal cross a 10-100UF electrolytic capacitor. If the location of the circuit board is allowed, the anti -interference effect of an electrolytic capacitor above 100UF will be better.

  Configure a 0.01UF ceramic capacitor for each integrated circuit chip. When the space of the printing circuit board cannot be installed, a 1 to 10UF 钽 electrolytic capacitor can be configured every 4 to 10 chips. The high -frequency impedance of this device is particularly small. And the leakage current is small (below 0.5UA).

  For components with weak noise capacity and storage devices such as ROM and RAMs with large current changes, they should directly connect to decoupled capacitors between the chip's power cord (VCC) and ground line (GND).

  The lead of the decoupling capacitor should not be too long, especially the high -frequency bypass capacitance cannot bring the lead
