In PCB design, after completing the PCB design through multiple levels, the most important issue is copyright, and plagiarism is common. So, how does PCB design prevent others from copying the board?
1. Grinding, using fine sandpaper to grind off the model on the chip; It is more effective for chips with side gates.
2. Sealing adhesive, such as sticking steel, covers the PCB and its components completely; Inside, five or six flying wires can be intentionally twisted together. It should be noted that the adhesive should not be corrosive and the enclosed area should not generate too much heat.
3. Use specialized encryption chips such as ATMEL's AT88SC153.
4. Use non cracked chips such as EPM7128 or higher from EPLD and CPLD from ACTEL.
5. Using MASK IC requires a large batch size.
6. Using bare chips, the plagiarists cannot identify the model or know the wiring. But the function of the chip should not be too easy to guess.
7. Connect a resistance of more than 60 ohms in series on a signal line with low current.
8. Use more small components with no words (or only some codes) to participate in signal processing, such as small chip capacitors, TO-XX diodes, etc.
9. Cross some addresses and data lines.
10. PCB adopts buried hole and blind hole technology to hide through holes inside the board.
11. Use other specialized accessories, such as customized LCD screens, customized transformers, etc.
12. Apply for a patent. Given the poor environment for intellectual property protection, the most preferred method in foreign countries can only be placed at the end of our list.
