Because MOS tubes are precision electronic components, the current continuously flows through the crane during operation. Therefore, in the event of an instantaneous increase in current or voltage such as a surge, it may cause breakdown or burnout. Although certain measures are taken to protect them during the production process, the root cause of such problems cannot be fundamentally ruled out. Therefore, the following issues should be noted when using them:
1. Because in a safe usage environment, the circuit design regulations of MOS transistor manufacturers do not exceed the dissipated power of MOS transistor manufacturers, and also cannot exceed the maximum drain voltage, gate source voltage, and maximum safe passage current, which must operate within various limit values.
2. Regardless of the type of MOS transistor used, it must be connected to the circuit according to installation requirements. Bias connection must comply with the polarity of the field-effect transistor to prevent breakdown after applying voltage. However, it is important to note that the field-effect transistor should not be placed in a plastic box and should be kept as moisture-proof as possible, with the best storage in a metal box.
3. Due to the high input impedance of MOS transistors, short-circuit protection measures should be taken during transportation or storage. There are some unstable electromagnetic effects in the natural environment, and excessive proximity to power equipment such as transformers may cause electromagnetic induction, leading to gate breakdown. The use of iron boxes during storage not only helps to avoid the risk of breakdown, but also improves the effectiveness of moisture prevention.
